Project summary

Female entrepreneurship in the MED region faces numerous obstacles and is being further compounded by the global crisis. Women are often considered to have little "financial credibility" and encounter obstacles when accessing networks as well as business and entrepreneur training courses. The main purpose of the E.M.M.A. project was therefore to promote the female SME market by encouraging knowledge transfer, boosting synergies and by setting up meetings between SMEs....

Key achievements and results

Considering the project major objective, the most important output of the project was the MED Guidelines. This guideline is the result of a set of MED Round Tables of dialogues between experts and women entrepreneurs. In total, more than 1.300 persons discussed about topics relevant to the world of women entrepreneurship.
