October 2014: The first MED roadtrip entitled 'MED ON THE MOVE' has been realised. Not only one, but four annual events took place from 14th to 24th of October 2014 within the MED territories.
With numerous and manifold results, but also concrete proposals for new project approaches in its suitcases, the Programme visited some MED areas to exchange in a very close and direct dialogue with its stakeholders and partners.
One crucial point on the agenda was the discussion and elaboration of methods and practices to allow for better coordination, complementarity and mutual benefit between the different objectives and programmes of the Structural Funds, notably the territorial cooperation programmes (objective 3), implemented on inter-regional and inter-national level) and the mainstream programmes (objective 1: Convergence, objective 2: Regional Competitiveness & Employment), implemented on regional and national level.

A focus was also put on the future relation between cooperation programmes, especifically in the Eastern Mediterranean area, and how they could contribute to the realisation of the the Adriatic-Ionian macroregional strategy.
