What’s ongoing as regards the announced call for capitalisation?

Since the beginning of the MED capitalisation process in 2011, a call for capitalisation projects has been announced. Over the past months, the Terms of Reference for this very particular call have been developed in a combination of a top-down and a bottom-up approach involving project partners and developing project clusters.

 

The Terms of Reference are now under approval of the Monitoring Committee within a Written Procedure. If the Member States immediately accept the proposals, the call will be launched in late July 2012. However, since this call is the first of its kind in the MED Programme, the Committee might wish to further discuss and adapt the proposals. In this case, the realistic timing for the launch is to be expected in September, after the summer break.
